Mnarani Turtle Conservation Pond, Nungwi, Zanzibar


Creatures of the ocean, elegant and precious, with numbers declining all over the world, sea turtles need to be conserved. That is why a grass-roots project on the north coast of the stunning island of Zanzibar, Tanzania, set up by local villagers, thrives on saving these animals.
